With whom do we share your data? / Where do we send your data? We share your data with our API database to ensure connection to our app during your Discovery Trip. Furthermore, anonymized data is shared with google analytics to improve the website.

 

 

Refund policy

Summary

Our refund policy is valid for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer your a full refund. To be eligible for a refund, your Discovery Trip Activation code must be unused and you have not yet started the Discovery Trip. To complete your refund, we will need a receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refund

Once your refund request has been received and verified, we will send you an email to let you know that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or denial of your refund. If your request is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within a certain number of days.

 

Late or missing refunds

If you have not yet received a refund, first check your bank account again, as it can take several days for a refund to be processed. Next, contact your credit card company. It may take a while for your refund to be officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is booked. If you have done all this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@discovertrip.nl.

 

Discounted items

Only normally priced items are refundable. Sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Liability policy

This liability policy applies between Discovery Trips (the Company) and the Buyer (the person who has purchased access for the Discovery Trip app), collectively the Parties, unless otherwise agreed upon by written agreement between the Parties. By payment to the Company, the Buyer agrees to the Company’s liability policy and Buyer agrees to the terms hereof.

 

1. Product Development

1.1 The Company warrants that the product developed (the application and the content in the application) will conform to the specification as given on its own website, the websites of third parties affiliated with the Company or as agreed in writing with the Buyer. If there is a risk that the specification cannot be met, this will be clearly stated in the specification and/or quotation.

1.2 A change in specification may affect development time, production time or result in other costs. If changes are made after the specification has been approved, changes in time and/or cost will be notified by the Company digitally or by letter. The changes will not be effective until such time and/or cost changes are approved by the Buyer digitally or by letter.

1.3 The Buyer shall permit the Company to potentially use third party companies to perform the order.

1.4 The Buyer will accept a product within 30 days of delivery (including prototypes) unless otherwise stated in the specification. Any comments or complaints must also be communicated by letter or post within this period. If the Buyer does not notify the Company within the specified period whether the product has been accepted, the Buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the product.

 

 

2. Liability

The Company is responsible for delivering the application and enabling the Buyer to use the application as intended and agreed upon.  The Company is not responsible for what the Buyer does with the application or any damage the Buyer incurs while using or working with The Company’s application and products.

 

3. Payment

3.1 The Company is entitled to adjust the quotation if changes in labor costs, material costs and/or exchange rate are demonstrable.

3.2 The Company has the right to request an advance payment for large orders. This will be clearly stated in the quotation. Late payment of this advance payment shall entitle The Company to postpone the order without any consequences for The Company.

Discovery Trips offers a mobile app that offers exploration games called “trips.” Through these trips, users go on mission-like tours and decipher clues to discover new places and intriguing stories. Each trip takes between 30 to 150 minutes to complete and is experienced outdoors.
